Interestingly, I thought JVR was having a decent playoff and didn't really deserve to sit in favor of him. Having said that, now that they won a game, I doubt they'll be making any lineup changes until they lose another.

Little bit more than stayin' alive, Don. The Flyers established themselves as true cup contenders. Better conditioning under Laviolette and a more aggressive style of fore-checking, and an emphasis on driving to the net is paying dividends in this series. Almost every Flyer goal has been off a shot within 5 feet of Niemi.

If Jeff Carter can continue to generate scoring chances, he, Gagne and Richards or JVR will begin to reap the benefits.
