Game 85: Carlos Delgado's 24th home run of the year caps a three-run third inning and the Spectres hold on for a 4-3 win over the visiting Emeralds. Cesar Jimenez has some trouble in the ninth but records his fifth save.
Game 86: In Seattle, Chad Bradford melts down in the ninth, helped along by Asdrubal Cabrera's second error of the game, and the Emeralds rally for a 7-6 victory.
Game 87: At Oakland, Aaron Cook has a rare quality start, and the game goes to extras tied at 3. Ryan Doumit singles home a run in the 10th, but Oakland answers with one of their own in the bottom half. Asdrubal Cabrera's 11th-inning double brings home Carl Crawford to give Montreal another lead. This time it holds up as Brandon Lyon throws a clean 11th inning.
Game 88: The Pachyderms abuse Ryan Dempster for four runs in the first, and that proves to be the winning margin as Oakland outdistances Montreal 7-3.
Game 89: The Spectres take a liking to Detroit's Comerica Park, collecting 18 hits on the way to a double-digit run total, while Gavin Floyd throws eight 3-hit innings, allowing only an unearned run. Montreal wins, 11-3.
Game 90: Shaun Marcum lasts only four innings and the Spectre offense is anemic as the Facerockers invade Olympic Stadium and beat Montreal 6-2.
We head west to face San Diego next.
