Vikings(9-1): old Favre v. Favre-wannabe Topic

disaacs' picks are always good for a chuckle a year later.

I think 8-8 is reasonable for the Vikings. With their running combo + their lines + schedule I gotta figure thats 8 wins right there, even though they have little else in their favor.

The guy I did NOT want them to get is AP.

Well, after getting off to a 4-2 start, I thought that prediction was going to come true. But, who was to guess that the wheels would fall off the bus and we'd win only 2 more games the rest of the year.

Just so we can see if we can get a chuckle next year, here is my projected order of finish this year:

2007-08 NFC North Standings (predicted)
----------------------------------------------------
Chicago Bears 10-6
Detroit Lions 8-8
Green Bay Packers 7-9
Minnesota Vikings 7-9
----------------------------------------------------

Our schedule is brutal after the bye week in Week 5. The first 4 games after the Bye will be the true test.

at Chicago, at Dallas, vs. Philadelphia, vs San Diego, at Green Bay, vs Oakland, at NY Giants, vs Detroit, at San Francisco, vs Chicago, vs Washington, at Denver

First off Viking fan, it's AD not AP. AD for "All Day" meaning he'll run all day for you guys. And you didn't want him? Why? Cause he got hurt on some fluke plays? AD has been facing 8-10 man fronts since high school. (In high school a team had 10 players in the box, at OU he never had a QB with the exception to Jason White his freshman year, and still avg 130+ a game against 8 man fronts) Viking fan, you got the best player in the draft.

Probert was a dirty player!

But, that's another sport....obviously, you were hit with the puck too many times to come up with such a prediction.

Start Kelly Holcomb he gives us a better shot at winning Brooks will probably get cut.

Brooks is the man!

Holcomb was a very solid pickup. He'll be the starter inside 6 weeks.
