Inevitably, you'll bring up the past, and boast of National Championships won 40 years before you were born. (Those were the daaaaaays!)

You will point out that you have more wins than any other program as though that is relevant to the current season. (Been playing since the 1870s!)

Go on, ignore that home loss to your archrivals in the regular season finale and continue to believe that you'll defeat your bowl opponent with striking ease. (We'll win by thirteeeeeeey!)

So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, oh Emperor of Excuses, and take comfort knowing that when you don't finish in the top 25, you'll be back to number three when the preseason polls come out next year. (Mr. Delusional Notre Dame Fan!)

Actually, one of my best friends little brothers had ds. Yes, I considered him an equal. I was no better than him. He, in fact, taught us a lot of things. We had lot of fun hanging out with him. You're the lowest of the low if you think you are better than anyone w/any kind of retardation.

Who said anything about sharing medals - now you are making stuff up. There's always a winner and loser, but it doesn't have anything to do with color.

Why a playoff? So teams like Boise State can't have the kind of emotion & feeling that they had a week ago when they beat Oklahoma? If they had a playoff system, that win would have been FAR less exciting.. It would have just been a win, not a major accomplishment.. Their O-Line held up, their defense proved they are good enough.. Zebransky proved he no longer cracks under pressure... Ian Johnson proved to be amazing!

If you want something done, don't ask for a playoff or else we'll never have the thrill of a team like Boise State winning a MAJOR game! If that was just the first round of a playoff, everyone would have just been like.. "Ok, now lets watch them get crushed in the 2nd round.." Whereas right now, the Broncos team can know that they accomplished something that cannot be taken away from them! Their fans (me being one of them) can be excited that now some people believe in them & those who believe in them don't want a playoff.. We KNOW they're good enough for a National Championship in the near future if not this year.

So, what's my solution to make them contenders for the National Championship? So we can see if they're capable of becoming National Champs.. I propose that they put them farther up in the preseason polls next season & give the WAC alittle more credit now.. I know that they probably won't.. But that's the ONLY acceptable solution.. Unless they get invited to the PAC-10.. That would be interesting. A playoff would just destroy games like what we had at the Fiesta Bowl!

Let emotions run, let the Boise State Broncos victory over Oklahoma not be tainted with playoff talks.. Let that victory stand proud! If you really care about College Football, you root for Boise State to be raised in the preseason polls & then we'll see if they can run the table again to earn a #2 spot in the BCS & a National Title shot! If it doesn't happen.. Oh well, I guess they'll just have to keep winning BCS Bowls untill they decide to wake up & see how good this team is..
