Just came across this forum a few minutes ago.

Apparently, frito still thinks I cheated. I truthfully could care less what he thinks because I've already settled this with admin and they don't seem to have a problem with it. However, frito will not let it go even though I've clearly explained several times over what happened to the entire league through the chat room.

I've been a part of a private league for the last 8 seasons and could have every owner in that league vouch for my integrity and credibility.

I joined Spahn 5 seasons ago and immediately got attacked by Frito and his band of heathens. I have brought stability and a championship to a franchise that was poorly mismanaged from day 1 with the highest owner turnover rate in Spahn.

Cheating can help bring a championship to a franchise. I don't think you've helped yourself.

Oh Lawd...whatever. You guys have fun with this.

Hmmm ... The accusation: you cheated. The defenses: I "settled this with admin," and "I have brought stability and a championship to a franchise that was poorly mismanaged."

Now I and a lot of others think so, too.

I'll try to be as concise as possible (you're welcomed to ask any questions for details out):

Spahn had a hard time filling in spots, so I invited my partner that lives with me to join and give it a try (he's a avid sports fan as well so I figured he might like WIS). He joins and I'm educating him on how HBD works (you either play to win now or compete while rebuilding/retooling your roster), free agents, arbitration, waiver wire, etc., etc.. So, he quickly starts wheeling and dealing with several owners in Spahn to win now (not just me like Frito painted it out to be). My partner played his one season, made the playoffs and lost in the first round and said, "dude, this thing is a complete waste of your money and time....." and decided not to re-up.

The IP Address thing is a load of crap because we have 2 different computers (he has an Apple and I have a PC). Similar IP Addresses maybe, because we're running off the same router, but not the same.

The one error on my part that I openly admit is that I did not communicate with the league was this "newbie" that joined HBD happened to be my partner. Once Frito learned about that, he took off running with it and would not let it go (ie, saying it was my alias, I was cheating, blah, blah, blah).

He reported me to admin. Admin communicated with demanding and explanation. I explained to them what the scenario was, they verified the 2 different IP addresses. They scolded me about not communicating with the league about "my partner". I apologized to admin. I apologized to the league. But Frito just will not let it go!

So, yes, I've already settled this with admin and apologized to the league about not disclosing info. But Frito would not let it go and kept hounding me about it all of last season and into this season to the point where I've grown immune to his taunts. So now, I just made fun of his accusations and mocked him during this season's playoff run. Once Frito got knocked out of the Division Finals (I was truly hoping to play him in the WS since he's in the NL and I'm in the AL), I went on a childish rant (yes, I admit it was childish) about how he "was a **** poor excuse of a human being". Frito reported me to admin and I got my chat board rights revoked for violation of TOS. Then dude started taunting me on the chat board because he know I got banned and so I reported him to admin for the crap he wrote earlier in the chat board. So, now we're both banned for TOS violations.

I personally don't like the dude. He's been a major tool since I joined the league and if the rest of you want to act like Pharisees and feed off of Frito's accusations then go right ahead because I will sleep perfectly fine at night knowing what the truth is. Good night gents

What's odd is that he has no active teams in any game. So it's not like he's logging in to check his HD team and posting. He has to make it a point to log in as under an inactive username. Then, when he wants to check his mythical teams, log out and log in under his "real" username.

I imagine, if someone had the desire, they could find out what HBD world he played in, check his most active trade partner and figure out his other username.

Benny out the part where his "partner" waived two of his best players for no reason near the end of the year and Benny just happened to get them due to his #1 waiver priority. He had that priority because he was tanking. Weird coincidence there.

Another example where the brother/father/son/roommate/buddy/wife experiment failed.

My son's guinea pig is seriously thinking about picking up a team. The crayfish seems somewhat curious about HBD. But the betta fish says "no effin' way, sounds like a 'tard game".

The good news is that, if they sign up, you can "teach" them the game by acquiring their good players.
9/21/2009 10:56 AM
As Steven Tyler once sang: "You got to lose to know how to win".
9/21/2009 11:04 AM
That's false AA, I had the #3 waiver wire priority at that time because it was the end of the season (remember, I had the #3 overall pick in this past season's draft). So, there were 2 other owners that could have easily picked up either one of the 5 players that he waived.

He was attempting to demote/promote a few guys to get his playoff roster ready. He screwed up by checking the wrong guys/items. I picked up 2 players and 2 other teams picked up the other 3 players. However, I willingly traded those 2 players back to the original team the following season because I knew it was an error.

Get your facts together before you start casting stones again, AA.
