Just to clarify :

1250 times the 10% = 1375 + AAA = Too high of a minimum. Period.

Of course when the second part of the update kicks in...and it goes to an IP model instead of a pitches model, then no...it won't be too high.

I'm changing my opinion. I think it should be 1450, because the Colorado Rockies pitched for 1450 innings this year. I think any player who uses more than 80% of his allotted pitches should be outlawed. I think any team who wins more than 95 games should be outlawed. All wins above the 95 game mark, should be taken away, and then redistributed to the owners on the bottom.

That's actually covered in the "100-win team pre-programmed to tank in the playoffs fix" from years ago...

I think what it boils down to is that they are trying to make the game more realistic as opposed to a mathmatical formula.

Seems like a good baseline for OL's.

I know that situation well - from both the 100 win team perspective and from perspective of the 85 win team that beats the 100 win team.
