I believe he can be.

By the way...trust me...if you forget/miss a player...summerfield will let you know. He is pretty thorough checking the rosters.

My team is looking a lot better with the twists, WC and liberal player eligibility... :-))

Still a HuGE Question for you, summerfield:

TEAM 15- '63 ATL --> (no contingency plan under the "alternate" teams section) They were the Milwakee Braves then, so... do I use the Milwaukee Braves?

(pssst.... And the answer I'd hope to hear is YES)

12/21/2009 4:19 PM
yes...just as my 83 Washington nats are the 83 expos

Any pitcher can have up to 20 starts.

another silly ?. only up to 20 starts? 4-5 man rotation will have more than that, not sure of the rule
12/21/2009 4:27 PM
yeh that one is vague...any pitcher can have up to 5 times thier starts...but only up to 20...even a 5 man rotaion cant start 162...but the 5 times thing throws me as well...that means my 72 WWood can start 250 games for me?
12/21/2009 4:40 PM
I think the rule is that a pitcher can have his real life number of starts plus 5, with the exception that any pitcher can start up to 20 games.

So, pitchers with 0 to 15 real life starts can all start up to 20 games.
A guy with 16 could start up to 21 games.
A guy with 20 could start up to 25 games.
A guy with 33 could start up to 38, and so on.

ok gonna do my homework tonite and wednesday and see what I can come up with. So many combos
12/21/2009 4:57 PM
my team is done...lets go!

- Owners must use a 4 or 5 man rotation. No starter can start more than 5 more times than their real life starts. Any pitcher can have up to 20 starts. I'm asking owners to please try to keep things realistic. Don't reach the start limit for a pitcher and then throw him into the pen for another 5-10 relief appearances. Any starting pitcher that breaks the maximum start rule will forfeit one game vs. each division rival for EACH illegal start.

Can I get a clarification? "Any pitcher can have up to 20 starts." This doesn't mean that 20 starts is the max, right? This just means that say relief pitchers can get a handful of strats, right?

Sorry if it is a stupid question.
