its funny how much you talk about your "minority opinions". what do you think the majority opinion is on the randomness issue? if you stopped for a minute to consider the standpoint of those around you, you might realize that literally tons of coaches gripe about the randomness and ridiculousness of outcomes. including most of the coaches arguing with you. it might be the #1 hot button issue among coaches today. ever heard the term "coin flip dynasty" thrown around?
like i said before, the problem is much more how you say things than what you say. and yes, the rest of us get caught in the fray and give you ****** responses. but you are in denial if you don't think you set that tone, and the rest of us are reacting to it. at least, i tried to be reasonable with you for a while before i sunk to your level so to speak. it is somewhat amusing to me, that is the only reason i continue the charade. if you've read my other responses, or if you could see all the site mails i answer, i really don't give anybody else cynical responses. and i definitely don't give people **** for having a different opinion than me. somehow, the rest of us manage to respectfully disagree, if thats what it comes to - and often in a difference of opinion, both parties walk away with a better understanding of the other side, even if their opinion is unchanged (and often, it is). that is really the point of disagreement, is it not? you are the only one who has the ability to change the tone. its been demonstrated time and time again by others before you, if you change your tone, it won't happen over night, but you will get respectful responses from most people. some people never let things die but most do :)
