I haven't seen his picks but he should get the first three right. After that, especially if Washington trades out, probably two more.

No. The days of taking on the "troubled player" are over in Oakland. They don't have the infrastructure to handle the "free-spirits" and make them productive football players. I think Moss and Hall proved that. They should probably concentrate on the character guys, build a base and then consider the problem players.

Better TV viewing tonight: NFL Draft on ESPN or RoboCop 3 on CW?

I refuse to watch the draft. For the last 5-6 years, I've had friends over on Saturday for the draft, drinking and a cookout. The NFL has taken that from me for a few more adverstising dollars. RoboCop 3.

I honestly don't know. The NFL seems immune to bad decisions. I just wouldn't think Thursday night screams "Get the boys together and we'll have a party!" Of course, if the boys all watch the draft on seperate TVs and not at parties/in bars, the ratings should improve. Hopefully the wife says "No, I'm watching Idol!!" and no one watches. Then it will go back to Saturday afternoon. And I'll never understand why the NFL doesn't have the Super Bowl on Saturday night.
