No big deal.  He's already said he's got nowhere else to go.

Sucks losing Carter for the year.

I gotta say, if the pats don't shore up their secondary, they will be in trouble.

Thu 12/22 Will the Patriots win the AFC Conference?
05:25 PM 3075 Yes +119
  3076 No -134

What they're doing now isn't the most surefire way to win a SB, but they're on pace to just need 2 home wins to get there.

And it's not like they're huge dogs to win if they get there.  Their chances are looking better than anybody's outside of Green Bay at the moment.

Green Bay Packers   +180
New England Patriots   +400
New Orleans Saints   +650
Baltimore Ravens   +1100
San Francisco 49ers   +1500
Pittsburgh Steelers   +1600
Dallas Cowboys   +3200
Houston Texans   +3200
Atlanta Falcons   +3400
San Diego Chargers   +3800

This may be true, but if they can't beat the jets AGAIN....

Anyways, I'm just warning of the liability it is. If the Pats are gonna lose, it'll be because of them.

Pats shore up 1st round by and #1 seed in the AFC.

it could unfold very nicely if Cincy can beat Houston...I like the idea of hosting the Bengals while Pittsburgh has to battle it out in Baltimore

Not scared of Pitt at all.  They are pretty beat up.

It's not like their entire offense is beat up.   So, with that in mind, they could put up 50 against NE.
1/2/2012 6:05 PM
not so much scared of losing to Pittsburgh, but it would certainly be a more physical game which could take a bigger toll on them a week later against Baltimore
