I've pushed for this each of the past two iterations of this league: we should institute a 12 (or 24)-hour clock for the first round. If you're in a draft league, you should be committed to knowing when you're up, and attentive to where the draft is at. Some people are busy. Yeah, so am I. I need this draft done before Monday, or I'll have to be sending out proxies with 20-30 players. But I make sure I'm checking here as often as I can. If I wasn't able to, I wouldn't be in a draft league.

I'e always believed that one of the commish's roles was to be the vanguard against delays, just like the one we have going on now. after a 12 hour delay, the commish steps in and makes the pick for the absentee owner. simple, effective, and a deterrent.

anyway, just my opinion

round 1 is too important of a pick to get skipped...besides even if we skip him and then banditone picks...guess what?...hes up again...so are we gonna skip him twice? his two most important picks of the whole draft?... and if i have to make both those picks it might as well be my team...i dont want that...no double owners in this league while we have people on the waitlist

no...what would happen is we would have to replace iccoachb, and i dont want the new owner to be at a disadvantage...so no skips in round 1

it sucks waiting...but these things happen...play these draft leagues long enough and eventually itll be you we are waiting on...it happens to everyone
