OK. I'll speak English. Let's talk 12th Amendment of the Constitution. There is a reason Hillary told Biden not to concede on election night and why Trump hasn't given a concession speech.

Under the 12th Amendment, after certification, one of the candidates MUST have a legal majority in the electoral college...in this case 270.

The certification process is ongoing. Legal challenges are being made. States can declare the election null and void. Those electoral votes don't count. If the Trump team can keep Biden under 270....the election process moves to the House of Representatives.

The Democrats have a slim majority in the House, but that's NOT how it works. According to the Constitution there are only votes from the states. Each state gets ONE vote for President. A quick glance at our current legislative majorities would indicate 37 votes for TRUMP and 13 for Biden.

So there you have it. That's why Trump is in court. That's why we don't have a President-elect. The votes have yet to be certified. It ain't over till it's over.

Exactly this. Trump has a very legitimate and constitutionally legal route to reelection. 1876 anyone? Is it a little shady? Hell yes. But no one has ever become a billionaire or tremendously, world-historically important in this world without a little bit of sketch on their side.

No. They called him President-elect the next day after Hillary Clinton gave her concession speech.

Your argument about certification applies with or without a concession speech. In fact, it's completely possible to give a concession speech and still end up winning. What if Trump conceded, but then the next day found evidence of fraud that could flip the election?

Or, hypothetically, what if a Presidential candidate got 99% of the vote in every state, but their opposition failed to concede. Would you lecture people about calling the person with 99% of the vote the "President-elect?"

I was watching Van Jones today on a you tube video. He said it was a tradition after the concession speech for the other side to stand down. He used Al Gore as an example. He said it was tradition and had no legal authority.

It's also tradition to stand down when you have no legal avenue to victory; I.E. where Trump is now.

I'm not a lawyer, I just play one here. I'm really not your go to guy.

I'm guessing Trump will fight it out as long as he thinks he can win. Take Pennsylvania for example.

The PA court (D-5 R-2) can make a ruling. It could be overturned by a higher court. The legislators, Republican majority, have the final say. Only they can certify. They can also charge the election corrupt and the results illegal and simply nullify the election. NOBODY gets their 20 votes.

I have no idea where they are in the courts or what avenues they intend to pursue. Your guess is as good as mine.

There is a very strong possibility at some point the Republicans look at it and say...It's not worth it. Let's just move on.

The legislators have already said that they won't do that. We know that they're failing in the courts. Trump, again, does not have a path.

What’s the opposite of democracy?

The Trump legal team is asking state legislatures to overturn the election despite refusing to make any of their supposed evidence public, and ridiculing reporters for asking to see it. Meanwhile, judges keep saying they're not being shown any evidence.

Doug is fine with this strategy and sees nothing wrong with it.

'They' accused Trump of every nasty thing they could... for 4 years.. and they lied ..No evidence to prove their claims that Trump was colluding with the Russians. they should be in jail, but are walking free.. Today our politicians are dishonest corrupt people

I am not the President, just a sim member, but if I was President, I would declare a day of fasting and prayer for the deliverance of America, which is currently under the power of fake media, fake news, false teachers, self righteous politicians, and anarchists in every place.
