24 his stamina after your next game

PA and IP are based on 162 games, so a guy who threw 5 innings in the opener is on pace for over 800 innings. He will need at least a few games to recover. Same for a hitter with 7 plate appearances in the opener, he's on pace for 1,100+, so he might be well below 100%, if in the low 90's you might drop him down to 8th for a game or two if you don't rest him.

Yes, like basketball I don't like how they do the fatigue in this sim. I don't believe in basing season fatigue on how many minutes or PA or IP the player had in real life. The short term fatigue is fine for the pitchers, but I don't buy that a basketball player who averaged 4 mins per game is gonna be fatigued in the next game 2-3 days later because he played 12 minutes one night. No NBA player is gonna be fatigued for the next game because he played 12 minutes.

And I also don't buy that a bench player in baseball who only got 76 real life PA is now gonna be fatigued in July because he now has 79 PA for the season. There needs to be leeway with season long fatigue for baseball. Any player who had at least likr 500 PA in a season should be get as many as possible in the sim. And part times who had like 150 PA in real life should not get fatigued AT ALL if you give him 200 PA in the sim.

All of these guys player major roles when they were in the minor leagues, and college, and high school, etc...they all should have no problem at all playing like 25% more often than they did in real life.

And they should have more regular injuries like they do in real life, which tests a team's depth. Position players who played less than like 155 games should go down for 1-5 games every so often. Starting pitchers that three under 200 innings or so should go down for 1-3 starts sometimes.

Come on, a hitter with 7 PA is gonna be tired the next day, or even 2 days later if they don't play until then?

That's horseschit. These guys were all playing doubleheaders like once a week or more in the past. And they weren't too tired to play the second game of the DH, or play the next day after a DH. That's more HS.

We got crushed in the Baker Bowl, 1-3 now on the season.

I don't get it. My starter, Mason, threw 54 pitches in 1.2 innings and he's listed as 100% for the next game, in green. WTF?

uh..he gave up 7 runs in 1.2 inning...that had something to do with it. Set his "call bullpen" to 1 and he will be less likely to be pulled, but 7 runs in 1.2 innings might get anyone pulled regardless of his call bullpen setting

He got pulled, but 54 pitches, why would he be at 100% for the next game?

Relievers in the same game who threw fewer pitches than 54 are shot for a couple of days at least.

It’s based on total pitches thrown for the season and his RL allotted seasonal pitches. So, after 54 pitches and 4 games in, he’s not projecting to eclipse his seasonal total, so he’s still at 100%.

I’ll bump a few threads on pitching fatigue as it’s complicated with all of the different components coming together

That's horseschit. Season total should not come into play at all 4 games into the season. A guy throws 54 pitches, he's done for the next 2-3 days, PERIOD.
