jonstephen25, you've got a solid start with the 27 Senators. You've got a few useful pitchers and the start of a good lineup with some HOF outfielders in Goslin and Speaker. Joe Judge is a good enough 1B. A couple of your other infielders can at least field. You've got a few options there.
What I think you need is a lot more Senators. Like 25 more of them, but this time from 1947. You know the old line, "Washington: First in war, first in peace, and last in the American League." Well, these guys were 7th out of 8, so close enough.
The 1947 Senators have a couple pitchers who aren't awful. I can't call them good, but they're better than that pile of garbage I just got handed with my 2nd team. You'll want to avoid most of the rest of them. I have to avoid all of mine. Heck, I feel like you should be thanking me, relatively speaking.
They have one hitter who's at all solid in Stan Spence. Of course he is also a lefty OF like Goslin and Speaker, and if you wind up needing to use OF from your other two teams you'll be losing out on any of these guys who happen to be your 3 best hitters at this point. At every other spot, the 1947 guy is a downgrade from what you have already. But as we all can probably agree, there are a lot of lousy Senators out there.
Good luck at making Washington work.
