I definitely don't understand the AAA rules.

Team Japan has enough overall PA, but not enough at C and 1B.

I looked at who I could draft for AAA players to fill out the roster, if allowed, and when I looked for power-hitting lefty first basemen, the first man up was 1927 Lou Gehrig, who is certainly not an average AAA player!

Or do we just get assigned random AAA players if there isn't anyone else we could draft from our given country?

You can just get randomly assigned AAA players, or others who played for your country. Of the teams entered, some just did random/rename and others actually chose players. Either is fine, and I'll verify them too.

Great, except that for now would you please switch duhbigcat's Caribbean team with OldTImer59's Dominican Republic team?
But that's only based on my theory that Duh's team isn't as good as OT's and generally represents Central America more than a single half of an island does.
If my theory is correct then this way we get all the Americas represented, unless another team joins the division representing the Central mainland.

I would take a USA team as well if it helps fill the league.

Why does WIS not include the salaries of players when manually chosen into AAA positions as part of the salary cap?
I had 3.1M left before AAA and then tried to draft a 2M pitcher at AAA but the game didn't include that in the overall team salary.

FYI: with my twist of filling half the team (since the Virgin Islands didn't have more players) with players from elsewhere's rookie MLB seasons (since the older people get, though more likely amongst females than males, the less likely to be virgins), this Virgin Islands team still had $3,085,924 more in cap space than my Canada team, and my Canada team is probably not as good as the Venezuelan, Dominican, or American ones.

IMPORTANT: I'm not a typical Canadian, so I'm upfront, not passive-aggressive. Therefore I will not be offended, even in private (internally or otherwise), if I'm still refused this Island of Virgins team based on who I drafted for it. I'm merely explaining why so there's no misunderstandings. Refusing me is dictionary fine. If accepted this ^ way, I also renamed my Virgins' prospects based on the most chosen boys names in the Virgin Islands.

I really had to stretch it to create a marginally competitive Carribean Kocomos team. I selected players from Curacao, Aruba, Jamaica, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, Bahamas and had to add a couple of Dutch born players (Blyleven) to get enough innings since this team is going to get lit up. That being said, I loved how this build turned out.

I think I prefer 16 or 20 considering the league type as I think the player pool is lesser than normal.

If we get enough interest to fill the league with 24 very fast than 24 is fine, but id say go with 16 or 20 if the league does not fit within 1-2 weeks

Commish- I would like to change my years from 2002-2004 to 2004-2006.

I have not looked at the players avaibale so no idea if it will make my team better, but In looking at the history of the WBC I saw the first tourny was March 2006. So players 2004/2005 seasons likely made huge impact in determining the roster chosen for the inaugural tournament, so this to me is more realistic than 2002-2004 (nd I did not want to use odd years for some reason which is why im not doing 2003-2005)

Hopefully this wont cause any issue, IMO it is better cause ash mentioned it is more in line with the real WBC itself so I think that makes it a better selection. I should have checked first but I thought the first tourney was around 2003 (getting old, the memory is not what it used to be)
