Well it's pretty much over for me now, it was fun to finally be in contention almost til the end. Much better than my previous experiences.
I made 2 mistakes in this year.
First one was entering my 80m team in an open league. It was good and it made the playoffs but it started so bad that I changed my starters on the WW. The rest was good but I changed the whole team and ended up with a bad one.
Second mistake was my starting rotation in the 70M league had too few IP. I had a good rotation with enough IP but I decided to go with better pitchers with lower IP. I was in a playoff spot until the halfway mark.

Well there's always next year. GL to all moving forward

I do think the key to a low cap rotation is the inning count, because if you spend on innings you don’t need then you are using slightly lesser quality pitching. I’m more inclined to skirt the low edge with better talent, but there is a risk to it.

My teams are tanking at the wrong time. Ugh.

Three more days, then this is finally over.

In League 3B (100M), no one has clinched a playoff spot in the NL:

A schwarze in Game 159 leaves me with:

2 teams clinched
1 with a 1-game lead for a playoff spot
2 with a 1-game deficit for a playoff spot
1 with a 3-game deficit for a playoff spot.

so I could still finish in the top 5 regular season with only 2 playoff teams. So many tough divisions!

Down to the last game for whether I make the playoffs in two leagues… close races everywhere!

I also want to thank all the organizers for putting this together. This is my first WIS championship and while I’ve spent way too much time putting teams together and tinkering with lineups, it’s been a whole lot of fun.

With one game to go, things aren't looking good. 98 wins so far in the final 1/6th, which has me (barely) in the cage at the end of the regular season. But with only 2 teams making the playoffs, it's almost certain that we'll be on the outside looking in for round 2.

This is your first? And you're in 3rd place on the last day of R1? That's quite the impressive debut.

I'm going to need some very deep runs with my 3 playoff teams to have a chance to climb up..... it's was a fun tournament but I still think I could've done better

Well, I'm tied with contrarian for 21st place. But with 2, possibly 3, playoff teams, I'm also not comfortable with my chances to make the cage. Here's to hoping for some deep runs from my guys.

Well I had one team make the playoffs by a game, and two others are in tiebreakers. So I’ll have anywhere from 3-5 teams.

I thought I'd have 4 playoff teams, but out of nowhere my $80m team finished the season on a 24-7 run to tie for the division lead. Meaningless tiebreaker, loser gets the WC, so I'll have 5 either way.

Happy with my R1 for sure, and yes thanks to all the hard work by everyone running the tournament.

L6 late in the season to miss the playoffs by 1 game in the 125M league. Only two playoff teams now and virtually no shot at the cage
