I would stop rooting for the any team that put a statue of that stupid bastard outside their staium. Ugh.
8/25/2010 1:39 PM
Yeah, it'd be WAY BETTER to not have a team at all. Then I could be a White Sox fan!
8/25/2010 1:54 PM
2005 was AWESOME!!
8/25/2010 1:55 PM
Brewers drop another game to LA, as Randy Wolf allows his 10th home run this season to a left-handed hitter (he allowed only one such homer last season).

In other news, Manny Parra has been removed from the rotation, replaced for now by Chris Capuano. Brewers don't plan to call up any starting pitchers when rosters expand Sept. 1.
8/26/2010 9:56 AM
Yovani Gallardo was reportedly robbed at gunpoint last night. That'll teach him to lose!
8/27/2010 2:01 PM
Chris Narveson, supposedly on an inning-monitoring program as we enter September, throws seven innings and the Brewers put up a six-run seventh as they snap their skid with a 7-2 win over favorite whipping boy Pittsburgh.
8/27/2010 11:17 PM
There's a rumor on brewerfan.net that Dave Bush has been outrighted, which has not been confirmed by any other source and really doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
8/28/2010 12:19 PM
Astros positioned to pass the Brewers in the standings this coming week. Then next......St Louis.
8/28/2010 12:27 PM
Capuano's return to the rotation was godawful (6 runs in three innings) but the bullpen allowed only one run after that and the Brewers win it in the 11th on Lorenzo Cain's single.
8/28/2010 11:33 PM
Brewers rock Charlie Morton, sweep the Pirates.. Trevor Time returns with a bang as Hoffman gets his 599th career save.
8/29/2010 11:42 PM
I finally saw a win this week on my third try.

The bratwurst got in some trouble today, being yelled at to SLOW DOWN after taking a HUGE early lead in the sausage race (Sunday races are relay affairs, with little kids finishing the last leg... the idea is for all the kids to start on more or less equal footing).
8/29/2010 11:43 PM
Brewers follow up a disastrous sweep in Cincy by wasting a brilliant Chris Capuano outing in  Philly, being shut out 1-0 by Cole Hamels and Company.
9/3/2010 11:42 PM
Kameron Loe, who seems to be losing effectiveness proportionally to his time on the roster, allows two baserunners to start the seventh with the Brewers clinging to a 4-3 lead over Halladay. Zach Braddock enters and walks the first batter he faces. Bases loaded. Rollins grounds into a forceout at home. Polanco flies to left, the throw home is not only late and off-target but goes past Lucroy. The backup is less than ideal, and the Phillies score two runs on the play. Brewers lose 5-4.

OH YEAHHH!!!
9/4/2010 10:47 PM
Lacroy wanted no part of a collision...Ruiz scared the crap out of him- costing the Brewers the game...
