22 yr old bobrovsky looks like a rookie at times - but most of the time he pulls off blocks that flyers fans haven't seen in 20 years. 

He looked great against the Pens again tonight.   

All in all, a nice weekend of hockey. Bob is the go to guy in net even after Leighton returns.

He's running on adrenaline right now.  Lets see how he's doing 40 games in.  By the way, when you guys going to pull the trigger on the inevitable Briere - Tim Thomas trade?

Giroux is turning into a beast. 3 sh goals already. Bobrovsky is 6-2. The flyers powerplay is back on track. They look really good right now.

5 in a row now. Blueshirts go down swinging. Good God though, Boogaard is a menace to society. Dude is friggin' huge.

Bobrovsky is harkening us Flyer fans back to the rookie seasons of Lindbergh and/or Hextall. Dominating win last night in Carolina after an overtime disappointment in DC. Giroux has been consistent, Zherdev looks motivated and the Briere/Leino combination is producing like they were in the playoffs. So far, so good in the early going.

yeah - the more I watch bobrovsky the more I think he's the real deal.  he gets better every game. 

The Flyers are hitting on all cylinders.  Another SH Goal last night.  Carter gets a Hat Trick.  The D has been awesome since game 1.  Meszaros and O'Donnel were nice additions there.  About the only player I can't stand on the team is Shelley.  He sucks, he's slow, and he can't even win a fight.  Guerin would have been a better fit. 

flyer recently signed Giroux for a 3 year extension...  3 yr $11.25 mil... 3.7 cap hit

and it looks like Carter was just locked up long term.   11 yr $58 mil.... 5.25 cap hit.

Another win. Bob let an easy one in... but shut em down after that. Flyers are hitting on all cylinders. They are going to be tough to beat if they keep this up. Lavy has really got these guys playing w/ hustle, determination, and confidence.
