I thought my team name Florida Talents to South Beach was clever at the time.  It was just a few days after the big announcement and seemed like a good idea.  In my opinion it did not stand the test of time sort of like the Toronto Raptors.  Now it makes no sense at all.  I never move cities for cosmetic reasons having to do with the player cards of long time franchise fixtures.  I don't hate the Florida Talents, but the Florida Talents to Cleveland has a certain ironic humor to me.  Do you like either of those or do you have a better suggestion for a Florida team name?

I was once a fan of alliteration with my team naming.   The Florida Flatulence would work as there are a lot of farting old people in FL.

With pitching, SP seem to be picked by DUR/STM alone.   With hitting, it starts with the primary position.   If you list a 65/60/34/37 at SS and he's the best hitter listed as a primary SS, you'll get him at SS.  The batting order is some weird combo of the basic hitting ratings.

Could you please give us the MikeT23 primer on how to build an effective lineup?

#1-2 guys who get on base a lot.   I don't really care about speed/baserunning.   I'll bat a C who hits .300 with a 90 eye if he fits the bill of being on base better than anyone else.
#3  Best overall hitter.   OPS or RC27 will tell you who that is.
#4  Best hitter left after 1-3.   Power is nice but I'll overlook a lack of it if he makes up for it in other ways.
#5  Power guy.  I don't really care about his eye/contact in this slot.
#6-9 whoever is producing the best.    #8-9 are usually fielding studs(or pitchers) that OPS less than .600.
