 I hear you Juskay Mr. Gibsons was giving me quite a little buzz tonite.., I was a Urijah Faber win  tonite from pocketing $1500.... lost but got my money back on earlier UFC fights ..trying to pay off dogs surgery ..ive got $700 back of the $1800...but i love the little sh!t ..makes me laugh every day..

Ya......I don't drink JD either??  Crown maybe, occational Vodka....................Best story I can tell you about Jack Daniels, was while in Baltimore last year??  They actually had Jack Daniels on tap??  Just like we have DRAFT BEER on tap???  I have pictures of it, and I thought WE WERE the RED NECK'S?????                LOL!!

Thank god we didn't get Richards. That offer was ridiculous. That amount of money for a softy... No thank you

And no point in making an offer sheet for stamkos. They would probably match it.. Plus there is the "Iginla" salary cap and no way can you get stamkos for 7 mil a season

yeah, i knew we wouldn't make an offer sheet or get stamkos.  looks like we're pretty much going with what didn't get us there last year.  good to hear.   (note the sarcasm).  maybe feaster expects to make some good moves at the trade deadline.  :>

flames unload langkow for stemniak.  i think it's a great deal.  stempniak could be a thirty goal scorer.  langkow scored thirty twice, but only the one year was really a good year.  and stemniak is making half as much.  he's a UFA at the end of the season of course, which means if he actually does do well, he'll probably leave for more money elsewhere.  :>

once again the flames play their typical game.  come out strong.  finish strong.  forget to play in the middle.  they did have morrison and backland out, but they need to find a way to put up sixty minutes of hockey instead of thirty to forty.  that being said, they don't have a terrible team.  they don't have a team that will take the division or likely win a cup, but if they play as a team they aren't too bad.  i do like stempniak.  i think that was a great addition.  if everyone plays to their potential, we might actually make the playoffs.  :>

I liked Sutter's plan for sticking Backlund in the middle of the first line.  It's good to see that with big brother gone, he has more gonads to try out the youngsters.  Too bad Backlund is out for so long though.

They still have the same problem they had last season...keeping the puck out of their net.  They went from one of the best defensive teams to the bottom 1/3 in GAA last season.  First 2 games show this team still has not fixed that problem...too many give aways in ALL areas of the ice.  Especially the ones that give the opposition an odd man rush!!!

Nah...they will pick it up just enough to narrowly miss the playoffs once again!!!  Therefore getting their usual 9-12 spot in the draft....
