meh.

When teachers say they need more funding and smaller class sizes, are you in a rush to deliver that? When anti-poverty programs ask for more resources to help the poor, do you believe them and advocate for them?

The reality is, and this goes both ways, it's self serving for a department or agency to say they need more resources. Not saying they are lying, but to pretend that they are an objective expert and would only say they needed something if it were true is dumb.

Maybe the border patrol really does think it needs a wall to be more effective. Or, maybe it knows that backing Trump on this will make it easier to get the things they actually need.

Would the wall not make their job easier so you would need fewer of them? How is it self serving?

I would give them more credence than a doctor. But I see the issue at the border. Both parties agree we need more security. The border patrol want a wall so did the Democrats until it became Trumps calling card. Now they are obtuse because they want to make Trump seem like a liar. Your house has doors and walls. Why shouldn’t our border? The wall also works well in Israel. The border patrol agents specifically stated they wanted a wall. I believe And support them. In your example if the social worker said we need all our employees to have iPads to make their jobs more effective I would support that.

Nope I do not. Right? Wait, you didn’t know that?

Every MD I have met is capitalist first and foremost. My longtime family MD recently retired because he said it was not as profitable. Less regulation not more is what MDs likes hence many go into laser eye surgery and Botox as these industries are private pay vs insurance

There’s been no talk in a reduction of staff. So no, there wouldn’t be fewer agents. The wall would still need to be patrolled.

We need EYES on the border. On the wall/fence that exists. On the deserts in between. Likely supplied by technology/drones etc.
