Why shouldn’t our border? The wall also works well in Israel. The border patrol agents specifically stated they wanted a wall. I believe And support them. In your example if the social worker said we need all our employees to have iPads to make their jobs more effective I would support that.

My dqd works with poor people. He says we need to better support the poor.

The CMS caught people going over the current fence with a rope and ladder and under it with a tunnel last week. Wall don't stop that. Wall also don't stop the people entering through VISA and overstaying. The wall would, presumably, stop SOME illegal immigration but it certainly isn't worth 60 bil. Also hurts environment and creates flooding. Tech is much better. Also, the asylum process would be basically impossible, which sucks for many from central America.

Also, Israel is not the US. Wall is not as long, not for same purposes, different geography, etc. Every problem that I just mentioned doesn't really apply to Israel for some reason or another.

Israel’s wall is 150 miles. It is not small. Again the border agents want it. It is just a structure and last I saw the cost was $25Bn. Which Trump said would be paid for by tax on remittances. There is no clear answer here but if our houses have walls and doors why should not our borders?

Yeah, the US Mexico border is only about 13 times longer. Drop the border agent stuff and just debate.

It is a structure. I don't hate the idea in principle but let's do a cost analysis. Even if it was 25 bn, which it isn't, that is too much money to spend on stopping maybe 10% of illegal immigration, especially when other solutions could cost less and be more effective.

Our houses have doors and walls because their production is worth the cost. You can't say that about a border wall.

Every MD I have met is capitalist first and foremost. My longtime family MD recently retired because he said it was not as profitable. Less regulation not more is what MDs likes hence many go into laser eye surgery and Botox as these industries are private pay vs insurance

I know you know two doctors who don't like the ACA but, newsflash, there are more than two doctors in America. Even if, and this is completely made up, only 1% of doctors think the ACA is great, that's still some doctors who like the ACA.
