That's correct. In fact, if season 13 hadn't been included, SUNY-Oneonta and Endicott would've tied for 1st place (Endicott winning the tie-breaker) with Washington 1 point behind.

Its good to be #1 but I'm still ****** about the Final 4 loss....

Dang it! I just saw I can't use booster gifts anymore. So much for my dynasty.

There could be a shakeup on the Dynasty list. If the season ended today, only 7 of the top 25 would be 'locks' for a tourney berth.
Imagine a national tournament without these teams:
Washington (12 straight appearances); SUNY-Oneonta (12 straight); Lakeland (6 straight); Transylvania (8 of the past 9); Wheaton (7 straight); John Hopkins (8 of 9); Chowan (12 of 13).
Dynasty rankings, with RPI after 10 games

If either oldave or kelby need to win their conference tournaments to get in, I for one wouldn't bet against them.

im not ao sure i agree with ya queenman.
I may be living in denial, but i feel we can get in without winning our CT.
One of the keys to making that happen would be for my non-conf opponents to start playing a bit better (you listening kel?)
combine that with a 15-1 conf record and a loss in the conf finals (both of which look highly unlikely, but im talking about whats possible, not whats liekly) and we'd have a 22-7 record. I think that would be enough. In fact, I think we'd have a slim chance with a 21-8 record.
we shall see. first i have to start winning some games.

that is some stunning stuff, coachblack. IbaD3 has literally been turned on its head. I'm not real pleased aboutthis development. but it does make for nice ammo against admins argument that D3 lifers are ruining the game by beating up on newbs.

oldave, I actually wasn't saying you will need to get in via the conf. tourney, I was speculating only if you need to.. I agree if you start winning your sos may pay off in the long run.

I'm certainly going to struggle to get 12 in a row at McMurry.
12/27/2006 4:33 PM
Several of the teams that struggled had very difficult schedules. Their RPI should improve in conference play

I won't be winning my CT. I just don't see me or anyone else in my conference knocking off Skidmore. I'm screwed.

Not to mention that I am jinxed right now. Everything I touch has been falling apart. 1st we have Washington which is a little down this season but should have won 2-3 more freakin games.
Then we have Nebraska, Omaha in Allen who after starting the season 10-0 with a top 15 SOS and #1 RPI and ranking. We enter conference play against a pretty weak conference. Then the jinx hits and I lose to a mediocre team and then lose to a 2-14 team! I also had my starting C just flunk out. After pulling a 1.9 at midterms and giving him over 20 minutes of study hall time he gets a 1.9 for finals. He is a junior too! What the hell! I am deep and replaced him easy enough but still!
My DI Illinois squad in Crum hasn't been safe from the jinx either. I had possibly the most talented DI squad I've ever had and lose to a SimAI Gonzaga team in the 2nd round of the NT. They made something like 20-25 shots to end the game against my 90 defenders. It was unexplainable. Then I had 3 junoirs leave for the NBA!!! I expected 1 of them to leave but the other 2 were shocks to me. I then lost a big recruiting battle against Cincinatti for the #2 center. Then I play Cincinatti in an exhibition where the held me to 17% shooting for the game. NO JOKE, 17%!
The only team that has been fairly safe from the jinx is Sul Ross St. in Naismith but they have only had a few games in the past couple weeks due to the season just ending.

Oh yeah, kyle needed me to gameplan for his Skidmore team the other night because he had to go somewhere. He was #1 at RPI, ranking and SOS. He had been completely dominating his oppenents. I gameplan for 4-4 La Grange and get my *** kicked..... I came closer to beating them with Washington in an exhibition game!!!

I need some good news...
