Game 47: Ken Caminiti hits a game-tying three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth, but the Bootleggers score in the 10th without the benefit of a base hit as Steve Finley walks, steals second, advances to third on a groundout, and then scores on a sac fly. Montreal goes 1-2-3 in the ninth and loses 4-3.
Game 48: Scott Erickson runs his record to 7-1 with eight shutout innings as the Spectres salvage the finale, 4-0.
