i'm good to go...

I'd be fine with giving other worlds another 24 hours to step forward.

I'm not against the idea you have going, but this whole thing seems a bit odd to me

most of the people that signed up for this idea (I didn't look all that close at the list) are forum and HBD regulars that know what is up with the supply situation, 'tard worlds, etc.

I was under the impression that most people are in the number of worlds they are in because of 1) budget issues or 2) that is as many worlds as they feel they can "handle"

I certainly don't expect that there are quality owners looking to add teams, but haven't because they just can't find a good world to join ... which would be one reason to do this idea

for me, I'm choosing not to jump on board this idea because two teams is my limit ... I have trouble giving less than 100% attention to my teams, and even a 2nd team tests me a bit

again, I'm not against the idea at all, I just find it odd that a simple idea from Mike got a dozen owners geeked up to add another team in a matter of hours ... I'm interested (just for curiosity's sake) what is motivating people to join this idea here and now, and why the thought of adding (yet another) team to your aresenal hadn't occured to you until today?

That is an interesting question.

I'm sure we'll all have our own reasons, but for my part, I have been casually perusing worlds for a little while now with the intent of adding another team. Nothing piqued my interest or separated itself from the rest. This seemed like at least an intriguing idea, if for no other reason than I'm not getting my tail handed to me enough by most of these guys and feel the need for more.

Group mentality. You know the world is filling with quality owners all at once.

Come join Bricklayers II. We need about 13 spots.

Also I'd be willing to join another world to help rebuild.

As a single owner, I'm not joining a world with 10 openings. With a group, I'm interested to see if I can handle 5 with the new roster move menu. Worst case scenario, I struggle to handle 5 but I'm only committed to getting my "new" team to .500. How long can that take?

A world that needs double digit teams can take a long time to fill because when 1 person looks at the world he feels it will take awhile before multiple owners will join that world, however if 15 people agree to join that world all at once the world will start immediately. I think Mikes idea is a good idea because there might be 10 owners out there willing to join world X, but none of them want to join by themselves for the lengthy wait that will occur.

The whole group should join. I'm sure we could get other owners to join other leagues as well.

Bricklayers II is now in play.

ABU, Bricklayers II or ??????

I'm not really looking to add a team, but will always consider adding one in the right situation as I mentioned in the MLHB thread. An opportunity to play in a league with some of these guys is at least worth looking into in my opinion. Maybe I'll never get to play in an elite league, but that doesn't mean I can't play in a good world with some elite owners. Maybe I'll just enjoy taking a horrible team and trying to improve it at the same time that 10 other owners are trying to do the same thing. Maybe I just want to feel like I'm contributing to WIS as a whole in a positive way.

I guess there are a lot of reasons for me to consider this opportunity. Mostly I'm willing to do it because if I was willing to pay whatever it would take to buy the rights to fill MLHB with owners to do this exact thing, I must be willing to drop $25 to help someone else do something similar.

That says it all for me...I was cutting back team myself but if we can put a good group of owners together then I'm all for it.

Because of all the quality owners that would be joining up, thus ALMOST insuring a quality world. Plus I am in a couple worlds that will more than likely die so I have a few teams to spare....and want to join a quality world that I know has at least a future...
