Brewers : Back in First Place Topic

I cannot find anything online to support this but I heard a trade rumor on the radio that has JJ Hardy going to the Red Sox in a 3 team deal that brings Jake Peavy to the Brewers.

I also heard on 1250 that Peavy was going to be traded to an NL Central team, either the Cards or the Brewers.

I'd love to see that happen. It's not good when you only really feel good about your chances of winning with one pitcher (Gallardo).

SOUUUUUPPPPP!!!!!

Do you know where I can get a soundbite of "Soup pitched great"? I'd love to set that as my ringtone.

It should be easier to find than one that says "Manny pitched great" or even "Manny pitched ok" or even "Manny kept us in the game".

Can't put that all on Parra today but the fact remains the Brewers are 3-9 in his starts.
6/7/2009 4:27 PM
Yeah, I didn't think Parra pitched all that badly. He still walks too many, but that 2nd Chipper HR was not a bad pitch.

As it is, still a good series. 2 out of 3 in Atlanta. The bullpen won't be perfect forever.

1-2 now while in attendance.

AHA!!! I knew it wasn't my fault. 3-1 now.

Recent Brewer Jorge Julio became the latest Milwaukee cast-off to end up with the Tampa organization, signing a minor league deal with the Rays.

Well maybe Gallardo can hit another HR tomorow like he did last time I saw him pitch.

The Brewers are now 10-12 since Weeks went down.

Well, at least we scored more than two runs today.
