Probably not.

Read my post, about "You can take over a team of your own under another screen name when you feel ready and play the game with your new league mates, in peace from the clowns." (Although miket seems totally confused by it), what part of that isn't clear?

Get your facts together before you start casting stones again, AA.

Are you saying you didn't acquire 2 top tier players from your supposed roommate in exchange for nothing via waivers? Or are you saying you did but its OK because others in the world did it too?

Either way it's bogus but here's why you answer is ridiculous; those other people DID NOT later turn out to know and live with the owner who waived the players and YOU DID.

I'm saying that you're still a little ticked from that 1st round elimination we handed your band of panzies!

I'm also saying that the 2 players I picked up on WAIVERS!!!, were properly returned to the original team. Problem solved.

Get over yourself.

So you did do it. And it's all fine and good now because you got called on it by the league and by Admin and then gave those players back.

You're a joke if you think any of what you did is defensible. You should be banned from WIS.

If you're referring to picking up players off of waivers with the intent of taking advantage of a rookie mistake: ABSOLUTELY! GUILTY AS CHARGED! If you're referring to cheating by using an ALIAS: you can firmly plant your lips on the gluts. Once I showed Kris the ropes, he was on his own and made his own decisions about how he wanted to manage his franchise.

I willingly gave those WAIVER WIRE PICKUPS back to the original team without the Spahn Mob having to twist my arm.

I already admitted that I didn't communicate with you guys about Kris being my partner. So, again, I apologize. But to keep beating a dead horse and then drag my name through the mud here on the open forum is just overboard.

Anyways, I've spent too much time on this forum. Gotta get back to work.

Doubt it. At least he admits he needs to use multiple user-names though. Some cats (myself, not you. Not calling you a cat.) don't really care what thier overall record looks like, they just enjoy helping out when fellow commishes need it. If you've played with enough owners, you don't need a sparkling record to prove yourself. Actions (or gameplay, in this case) speak louder than words (or big men hiding behind (several) fake names on the internet, in this case).

This is what kills me. Even the "Mentor Program" explicitly states you should find a mentor that is not in the world you currently play in. I have a hard time with the concept of teaching the "roomate" the in's-and-outs of the game when the two are playing in the same league together. Smells bad, looks bad.....it's probably bad......

Why not immediately? Why not as soon as you discovered the "error"? He screwed up although you were "helping" him. You've got to admit, from the outside looking in, this sounds awful bad.

Am I missing something....weren't you "teaching" him the game? The more I hear from your side, the worse this looks...

That's because he cheated.
9/21/2009 2:25 PM
Ah, well then. It'd just be easier to admit that then to keep digging that awful hole he's digging.....
9/21/2009 2:27 PM
It's actually worse than what has been described. It happened TWICE. He claimed the same players off of waivers one time, traded them BACK to the same team for some players, and then claimed them again. The first time it was with a one and done username (probably an alias), the 2nd time it was with his alleged "roommate."

It is totally shady bordering on outright blatant cheating and WIS refuses to do anything about it. Benny still thinks the only thing he did wrong was not tell anyone that he had a "friend" in the league. It is just absurd. I'm sure if there was some voting mechanism to remove him from the world he'd get 100% of the votes.

I can't understand how ADMIN/CS finds this type of behavior acceptable. It's about as close to "proving" collusion/cheating as you can get via the internet. If they had any integrity, they'd boot him from the site. If he had any, he'd leave the world without a problem and find somehwere else to play....without any "roommates" or "partners" or whatever.....

Agreed. I don't think you get more blatant than this. Maybe if someone just outright said "Yeah, I cheated using an alias." But who is goign to do that? Any cheater is going to make up some ridiculous story about teaching the game to his roommate's cousin's friend's sister's third half-brother or something like that. And WIS just doesn't care. A cheater's money spends the same as anyone's.
