i made the playoffs!

i just resigned the majority of my team. still have over 24 mil in the bank.

It's a league game, Smokey.

I just finished paying off my new arena.

now only 1 player and a goalie short of a full squad. my best player is going to miss all the playoffs even if i by some miracle make the finals.

At least I can get some serious practice in now while we sit and watch the playoffs.

I lost my #1 overall to Cy. He took Minozzi last year, and has a couple of guys to build around.

I went all-out the last game instead of resting starters trying to get #1 overall, and BD's banged up crew in Round 1. I've got no excuses, going in healthy, and all guns blazing.

The 3-6 and 4-5 series are going to be interesting.

As far as the cap goes, I'll restate my earlier opinion that we have the best of both worlds.

You have $35M to initially BUILD your team. So we have a cap.

Once your team is together, you have no cap KEEPING it together.

IF you pick the right players with the 1st $35M, you don't have to break up your team to get back under. You can re-sign your own guys and sign your draft picks without worrying about the cap. You just can't go to the free agent pool anymore.
