Everyone hated him on gd's boards before they even knew his political bend. Back then he was suggesting moronic changes to the game and alluding to speaking for some mythical silent majority which was never quantified. I wish he'd never found the pit.

I tried to explain to swamp how implausible it was that someone like Philip Anschutz would be involved in a "left wing plot," but it only served to reinforce how superfluous the facts are in any discussion with swamp.

No one's ever pointed out to you that in the "wing" model, the wings wrap and the extreme right and extreme left end up rather close together (totalitarian, violent, etc.)?

That doesn't really have anything to do with the discussion, but if you want to get all swampy and pick a few words out of the post, completely disregarding context, and head off on your own tangent, knock yourself out.

Geeze, dude, you're talking about soccer. The tangents are the only possible targets of interest.

And deal with this fact -- George Soros shows that being rich does not preclude someone from being a way out there left winger.
