Who are you matching up?

Houston-ORL Finals.  Keem took better care of the ball, and his team went 4-0, but his teammates really came through while Shaq's were busy missing shots (including the infamous free throws).  Shaq is all of 22 in the series.

yeah I was about to post that's what it was, I was young when I watched that finals but it just felt like Hakeem made Shaq look silly over and over. Should watch it again if it comes up on NBA tv.

Hakeem's 10 less to's and 7 extra steal's seem like the big difference in the box score. Shaq got to the line more but only made 6 more fts.

The only reason this particular debate is dragging on is because the draft has stalled.  Very curious to see how the rest of this round shakes out.

Comparing these two is very interesting to me, but comparing either to Kareem or Wilt is just plain silly.  Sure Hakeem had one truly amazing season, but Kareem and Wilt each had many of those seasons, and sure Shaq was an incredibly efficient and dominant offensive player, but so were Kareem and Wilt, and they played defense and didn't miss half the season many times.

What can I say, 2 of the 4 best C's of all time! Add Wilt & Jabbar. They won championships cuz of how dominant they were. Their opponents were at their mercy. The greatest of the greats along with the all-time greatest Michael Jordan!

Trust me when I say that I had a hard time takin Dream over Jabbar but can you really go wrong with either player?

Dream had 14 great seasons so give it a rest already. You act like he was a one time wonder. His defense was unmatched. He was unstoppable in the post. He was a great rebounder. He won 2 championships.

Hey snydpie, at least you didn't take Bill Laimbeer with a top 5 pick! LOL - fun fun!

the second best SF of all time and the jordan of his time Julius Erving was a elite scores an great defender a great rebounder especialy for a small forward. always a good ft shooter and early in his carrer even  4-5 assist seasons. if could shoot 3's he would be the hole package. i think hes better than lebron definitly more clutch a better rebounder a better ft shooter and a better defender.

I had my eye on a certain guy from the start of the draft to take in this spot.. BUT.. I NEVER THOUGHT this guy would be here.

Who needs a college education anyway? My second straight high-school - to the pros choice.

3x MVP
NBA TITLE playing with the previously taken DR. J. (finals MVP)
One of the best rebounders in the history of the league - 5 time rebounding champ - 3rd most rebounds in NBA history, most offensive boards
Made the All-Defensive team.
7th leading scorer in nba history, 6th if you count his ABA year

The last great center left on the board (unless you jump in the way way way back machine)

MOSES MALONE

Yeah, Moses is maybe the most obvious stud remaining.  A decent but not great defender, turned the ball over a bit too much, and moved increasingly like a tugboat as he aged. The second-best rebounder ever, in my opinion, a very accomplished and determined interior scorer, and could get to the line when he wanted to.

Well, not alone, but Magic and a yet-to-be-picked PG were clearly the best players on multiple title-winning teams.
Well, there are pg's and then there is Magic Johnson...

I'll admit I can't think of who the other one is.
