I agree with DH. **** happens. And like he said, even if you skip him he's gotta make another pick right afterwards.
But if there is a waitlist, then maybe moving forward offer a spot up after 24 hours.

Cause personally, I wouldn't be mad if I lost my spot because I couldn't get online or had personal issues. If someone made my first round pick or skipped it, I just wouldn't want to take the team anymore. In which case, you're going to have to find a new owner anyway.

This sounds like a good idea. If they really had something serious going on that prevented them from being on the site then we can just put them at the top of the wait list for the next season.

Of course, if they're just being lazy, then we should just boot them straight out.

I understand personal emergencies, etc., but those who typically take forever with their untimed 1st round picks seem to have little problem adhering the one hour window for rounds 2-6.  It would seem that common courtesy toward 23 others would be enough of an incentive to not abuse an open time window. If there were a personal issue, the courtesy of a brief note stating so is not asking too much. Given as much, I think a 12 hour window is sufficient time- then move on to the waitlist.

That's not exactly true. Once we get on the clock, 22 owners can often get the schedule a day and a half ahead until two owners derail it again.
