Are we following the Ahmaud Arbery case? Is this enough to call it a hate crime?

Oh wait. Georgia doesn't have those.

That’s because the term “hate crime” is stupid. All violent crimes are “hate crimes” and should be punished accordingly. There is literally no benefit to creating a separate category.

I'm being facetious.

Seriously, the criminals thugs who killed him need to be locked up forever.

Yep.

Also, I’m not sure if what the DA’s did down there was criminal by trying to let them walk, but at a minimum they should definitely be fired.

Yes, it is. Money is the largest factor determining upwards mobility, that's quite obvious. Ever been in Court while poor? You find out quickly just how things work. It isn't the only factor but it is a big one.

Expectations are another IMO. Grow up poor in a neighborhood of color and economic challenge and very few folks have the ability to retain hope for self betterment. They give in to what they see around them and just live the best they can.

It isn't so much that there's white privelege as the reality of economic lack of privilege.
Remember the old saying..... "it takes money to make money".............

That's still true............ but how do you go about getting a grub steak IF'N you come from an economically challenged family or community.
No bank backing for you po boy (or girl).
Go deliver newspapers until you have enough to make your dream happen............. yeah right.
Might take a while at 2 cents a paper.
I agree. And it was fantastic to see TRUMP deliver the goods to everybody with the best economy ever.

4 MORE YEARS!

He should Thank Obama for the rescued and growing economy he inherited.

Here we go again: everything "good" in this Country is because Obama made it that way, and everything "bad" is because Trump made it that way. Come on bob, you're better than that (I think).

Here we go again. Obama does not get credit for anything, but trump gets credit for everything, even the things he totally screws up and lies about. (No, he did not screw up the economy.)

Policies aside, reading through Obama's tweets versus Trump's is a stark reminder of how far our presidential discourse has strayed. And, really, I blame social media. I blame the cultural conditions created by social media. Trump is a manifestation of a social media-wrought cultural decline.

So you're saying maybe Obama didn't do a darn thing "good", it was all Bush? Oh no, wait, all Bush's "good" was Clinton's doing, right?
You can't have it both ways. Either it's all (good and bad) on the current POTUS (as I believe, as he could have changed, or at least tried to change, anything) or none of it is on the current POTUS.

Can you make a list?

I disagree. In my opinion, Trump is a lying, bullying conman. He would be a lying, bullying conman with or without twitter, Its just that with twitter many more people see him for what he is. (not enough though..somehow there are still a lot of people out there who think he actually gives a **** about anyone other than himself)
