I agree with pretty much everything said.
From my perspective, I offered the trade as soon as 24k picked. I actually offered 24k the same trade and he declined. DH picked before seeing my offer and said he'd consider a swap & let me know. He did. I accepted the trade without even knowing the 2nd round had begun and would have followed through even if Rodman, who I was targeting, wasn't there.
I do see how someone could possibly gain some competitive advantage in the situation, but only in the absolute rarest of cases. I'd say just saying swapping before making the 2nd pick is a safe compromise, though I'm intrigued by Rob's proposal as well.
