Only a two-game series, but still gotta say it: SWEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPP!!!!!!!

That's only worth a small broom, right?

Yuiniesky Betancourt's 10th inning error opens the door for the Nationals, who beat the Brewers 4-3. The most inexcusable play in the game, however, came in the second inning, when Chris Narveson walked opposing pitcher Tom Gorzelanny with the bases loaded...on four pitches. (One of two bases-loaded walks Narveson issued).

Brewers drop both ends of a doubleheader in Washington, likely turning this road trip into a disaster as they now head to Philly for three to wrap it up.

John Axford chokes up a lead for the second time in five appearances this season, but the Brewers score three times in the 12th to beat the Phillies 6-3 on ESPN.

Betancourt should have been charged with an error on Victorino's single leading off the bottom of the 12th.  As a Little League coach, we chastise our kids for attempting to field a ground ball the way he did on that play last night.

Betancourt's defense is a major thorn in the side of the brewerfan.net folks, though he did make a great play to grab that shot that bounced off Mitre and get the DP.

If I told you the final score of the Randy Wolf vs. Roy Halladay matchup was 9-0, you would not be surprised. But you would be if I told you which team won.

Brewers score in the first off Cliff Lee, the first time the Phillies have allowed a first-inning run this season.
4/20/2011 1:46 PM
Which helps us not at all, as Narveson allows a game-tying 3-run homer to Polanco and Kintzler allows a game-winning shot to Victorino.

Brewers extend Ryan Braun's contract through 2020. He gets a $10M signing bonus and $18-$20M per year during the 2016-2020 extension years. Option for 2021 and a no-trade clause as well.

RACISTS!!!!

Just like Tampa Bay, they'll extend contracts for whiteys but if the poor black fellow asks for a few dollars, they say "Test FA, you ungrateful bastard!!!"

Of course, since the only black people in WI are athletes, maybe it makes sense.

Five Plus was a little shaky again tonight, but it didn't matter. The Brewers scored in six consecutive innings, getting three-run homers from Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez (plus a solo shot from Five Plus himself) to crush the Astros 14-7.
