Should I turn either (or both) leagues public in hopes of more active coaches, or is our small familiar competitive group better?

I'd rather try again to recruit Sergei, damned, and re-recruit Sparky, TDK, BD and Jayrede, then mayybe fill it out w/ our non-WIS hockey fan friends.

If we went public, would we have to fold our other public league teams? I thought they were one-tona-customer. Mine is in financial trouble big time in its 4th year, but it HAS won 2 cups.

On the other hand, might be fun to see how NHN would do against the big boys. Hmmm.

Tournament leagues, where you progress through the tiers, are one to a customer.

Private leagues, such as WIpeeps, can be invite-only, or set to no password which makes them open to the public.


I'd also MUCH rather fill with WIS folk, but that never seems to work.  They just aren't obsessed enough to stick with it.

My tournament league team, South Manchester Scotsmen, have fallen out of contention in their 1st year @ tier 3. They won cups at tiers 5 & 4 in their 1st three years of existence.

Accordingly, they are sellers with the tourney league trade deadline 11/27.

These guys won titles at the two lowest tiers, but except Yudin and Cain, are over their heads at tier 3.

i think my tourney team is 1 season ahead of you.  they won tier 5 and 4 and missed the playoffs in 3 now i'm rocking tier 4 again
