STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS 2009-10 Topic

Dude why are you even bothering? What's the point? If you're not coming on a forum to discuss the game, then is it because you get some perverse pleasure out of thinking you get under people's skin? Get over yourself. You're not that important.

I would like to hear muddy say .... juskay and moy, you were right the hawks would be a 6th seed or less... I was wrong that they would win the western conf.
1...I was wrong about the 6th or less assessment.  Who wins the conference is almost two months away, so I'll reserve comment on that until then.

2...Now will you admit you were wrong about Toews?
I will................... BUT only if I see him step up in this series... ONE great year ('09-'10) does not make an elite player.  now's the time when the hawks need him most when they don't have leaders like buff and ladd to step up.
I don`t disagree with you here moy...although I don`t necessarily think he can win the series by himself either. If he steps up and scores, say a point a game in the series and the Hawks still lose, I don`t necessarily blame him for that.

Ummm.....you haven't been paying any attention to his career if you think he has had only one good year.

Saying Buff was a leader only re-inforces your lack of hockey smarts.  The guy was anything but.

There are different types of leaders muddy...buff was definitely a physical leader on this team.

Block the ***** and razz him about it.  I already drove him to one breakdown and it was great fun.  Try it...you'll not only like it, but you won't miss anything that knob has to say.

Only when he felt like playing.  He was invisible for weeks at a time in his time here.  That's nothing that a leader represents.

invisible for weeks just like toews finishing the season with 2 points in the last 9 games with the hawks fighting for a playoff spot.

ask any canucks or flyers fan and they will tell you buff was the difference maker on the hawks last season.

any idiot that couldnt see that bUFF WAS THE MAJOR REASON THE hAWKS  WON THE LAST 2 YEARS ..should go back to watching  the WWE...you know nothing about hockey...stick to bass fishing nimrod

 You cant fix STUPID!!!
4/13/2011 11:21 PM
LOL...Toews was hardly invisible, but you'd know that if you knew how to watch a hockey game instead of looking at the boxscores and looking for points and only points.

Invisible....what a laughable statement!!  I can't wait to ask John to ask the other bloggers their opine on THAT!!!

Buff was a difference maker for sure.  But he sure wasn't the only reason we won the Cup.
4/13/2011 11:22 PM
I can`t speak for anyone else, but I never said ANY of the guys we lost weren`t contributors to the Cup. I only made the point that, given the fact that they had no choice, I believe they kept the right guys (Kane, Sharp, Bolland) over the alternatives (Byfuglien, Versteeg, Ladd).
