How about that Louis CK? Been rumors floating around for years; I guess the chicken chokers have finally come home to roost.

My 1991 list. I found 1991 to ve a much better year for alums than 1990. Had a hard time getting it down to a top ten. In no particular order:
The American in Me - Steve Forbert
Mad Mad World - Tom Cochrane
Back From Rio - Roger McGuinn
Laughter and Lust - Joe Jackson
Fear - Toad the Wet Sprocket
Marc Cohn - Marc Cohn
Pocket Full of Kryptonite - Spin Doctors
Rumor and Sigh - Richard Thomspon
On Every Street - Dire Straits
Into the Great Wide Open - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

Some that were on the bubble:
Nevermind - Nirvana
Blood Sugar Sex Magik - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Out of Time - REM
The Sky is Crying - Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble
Hymn to the Silence - Van Morrison
Damn Right I Got the Blues - Buddy Guy
Luck of the Draw = Bonnie Raitt
Mr Lucky - John Lee Hooker
Whenever We Wanted - John Mellencamp
Mr. Bad Example - Warren Zevon
Struck By Lightning - Graham parker
That's a real good list wylie! Glad to see "Fear" in there. That's a great Toad album.
Also, the Steve Forbert. Great LP.

I'd have switched the Nirvana release into the Top 10 just because of it's impact and groundbreaking appeal. That LP made grunge acceptable. Without it, I doubt you'd have had a huge Pearl Jam happen. Don't know what I'd take out to make room for it, though......... maybe the Marc Cohn.
That's the main reason I considered the Nirvana album. It was okay, but not to my taste. It did have a big impact though.
On a somewhat connected thought, did anyone ever hear the song "Talking Seattle grunge Rock Blues" from Todd Snider's "Songs From the Daily Planet"? Its a hidden track and it is very funny and a great song. The album is fantastic too.

Nice documentary here on the classic Twilight Zone episode "Walking Distance" and specifically the carousel that figures prominently in the action. Only 11 minutes long, worth it if you're a Twilight Zone fan.

I used to scare my sisters with that Willoughby voice whenever we passed a funeral home or were on a train.

Once again Wylie is on the money with this comment!! The song mentioned is terrific and the LP is so good that yesterday I went and looked up what year it was released! :-) Most of Todd's releases are superb but "Daily Planet" still stands out for me!

As for the Nirvana banter. I always liked (still do!) "Smells Like Teen Spirit"........... never did get what the hell the song was about really, but the inherent power of that song barrels thru a good set of speakers.......... kinda displays the underlying darkness that was present with Cobain himself. Sonically, that is. The CD itself (as a whole) really is a bit dated. There are much better grunge records. Temple of the Dog for example. That came out about the same time. And (of course) there's Mudhoney which gets a humourous mention in the hidden Todd Snider song Wylie referred to......... which circles us back to the beginning, and my conclusion. Gotta lay off the coffee.

So Flynn and Flynn Jr. appear to be next on the Mueller chopping block. Kidnapping! Real Putin-style politics. Trump only hires the best people, believe me.

Mueller Probes Flynn’s Role in Alleged Plan to Deliver Cleric to Turkey

WASHINGTON—Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating an alleged plan involving former White House National Security Adviser Mike Flynn to forcibly remove a Muslim cleric living in the U.S. and deliver him to Turkey in return for millions of dollars, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Under the alleged proposal, Mr. Flynn and his son, Michael Flynn Jr., were to be paid as much as $15 million for delivering Fethullah Gulen to the Turkish government, according to people with knowledge of discussions Mr. Flynn had with Turkish representatives. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has pressed the U.S. to extradite him, views the cleric as a political enemy.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents have asked at least four individuals about a meeting in mid-December at the ‘21’ Club in New York City, where Mr. Flynn and representatives of the Turkish government discussed removing Mr. Gulen, according to people with knowledge of the FBI’s inquiries. The discussions allegedly involved the possibility of transporting Mr. Gulen on a private jet to the Turkish prison island of Imrali, according to one of the people who has spoken to the FBI.

Gig Young starred in the Twilight Zone episode "Walking Distance" mentioned above. Check him out here (at 4:25) in Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia. The old businessman-hitman routine! Even Trump and the Flynns would be impressed. I think this movie gave ol' Gig some unwholesome ideas, as he shed his mortal coil with his wife via murder-suicide in 1978.
