I still think there is a Bieksa, samuelsson, Hansen, Schneider for a back up and top six player deal coming.  But maybe I'm dreaming. 

Really like how adding Malhotra really freed up Kesler to step up offensively though.  Still think he needs Burrows back to really get that 2 line flying though. 

Squeaked out a S/O win on Long Island. Luo actually won a S/O game? Nice S/O goal by Raymond. Next up are the Rangers. Who is Avery going to pick on? Maybe Bieksa can shut him up early. Avery shut up? What I'm I thinking?

Kesler is having a great year. I think he will finish stronger this season then last. Burrows is getting better every game too. I think he will have a great road trip and score 3-4 goals including last nights.

The team will be out on the town in NY tonight and possibly relying heavily on Schneider tomorrow. Which makes me wonder, must be an advantage for the Rangers? Why is their team always crap (by high salary standards I mean)?

Sounds like a pretty bad snow storm there right now. Sedins were to be on NHL Live today but are late because of the weather. The boys could be holed up in their hotel rooms all night.

I think the Rangers are crap because of Sather. The guy lucked out in Edmonton with all the great players that fell into his lap. Then he brought some of those Oilers to NY and won a cup. He has done sh!t since.

Totally agree, Glen Sather is the luckiest and most over-rated GM of all time. I beleive the Scouts' name was Barry Fraser that found the talent for him.

 Like they said on sports talk..if both goalies took their names  and numbers off and you didnt know who made what? judging by their play during this season who would you say has played better?  I say Schneider ...Luongo has let in WAY more soft goals..If Schneider played as many games as Luongo i would bet my pay cheque he has better numbers than Luongo..

If he made 3 mil.....He would have the FIRE and the DRIVE he used to have.......Now that he makes the big bucks HE takes too many night's off.  I wish NHL contracts were similar to the NFL contracts.........In other words you make the big bucks as long as you are worth the money....Otherwise, YOU GET CUT!!!!  Or take a paycut, to stay in the league!!!

Improve our top 6 forwards? We have by far the deepest team in the league.Who the hell are we going to get that compare to our top 6 now? I'm sorry you guys, you out to lunch.

if he cared as much about the team that he does about himself, he would have said "i'm not worth that much, i'll sign for less so that we can build a better team around me."  of course he's only making $10M this year, and then goes down to $6.7M per year after that.  for seven seasons.  he'll be making $6.7M when he's 38 years old.  it's a ridiculous contract.  he's already starting to show ****** in his armour.  if he was six years younger, the contract wouldn't be as bad, but it's still too much money, IMO.  most of the players in the league are getting paid a lot more than they're worth.  :>
