Busier at work, out of town some, and the fact that the Phillies played like .800 ball from the end of July on so virtually any post I made would have been during a time when it was going good for them?

Nice... only took back-to-back NL championships and (probably more importantly) Boston and LA not making the playoffs this year for the Phillies to not wind up with the worst possible first round game times.
apparently the networks dont care about the Rangers

If only tracyr was here to enlighten us on people talking about wins and losses for quarterbacks...

McNabb is being treated like he did anything well, when he just had two completions on blown coverages and then nothing else noteworthy. Just a bad game otherwise, and probably played the worst of any of the three quarterbacks involved.

Meanwhile Kolb might face criticism when all he did was lead the Eagles back and come within a clean-drop by the Eagles' most sure-handed receiver on the last play of the game from winning. Odd.

wins/losses for QB's is even more stupid in football than for pitchers in baseball

I roughly agree with all of those that I've seen except for Ronin, which I think is miserably stupid, and the Hurt Locker, which would be more B+ territory for me if I used letter grades.

Haven't seen the Town, Control or the American, though. And I'm assuming The Score is the De Niro/Norton, and not any of the other 86 movies that have probably used that title.
