I've been playing this game for at least 5 years, and this though has never occurred to me. Is there any reason that the one game a day worlds need to have their games simmed at 2:00 AM? Why not 2:00 PM? Those of us who are anxious to see what happened could check from work, or check when you got home from work and not have to stay up too late or wake up in the middle of the night.

I think they don't want the site/servers jammed with everyone all logging on and checking at the same time.

Back in the day, I can't believe how many times I woke up in the middle of the night to check the scores or even sometimes stayed up way late if it was during the NT.

Funny. I was thinking the same thing. Now I sometimes forget to check.

I've always thought that they should stagger the sim times for various worlds. Naismith at 2:00 am, Wooden @ 5:00 am, Crum @ 8:00 AM, Knight @ 11:00am, Phelan @ 2:00 pm, Smith @ 5:00 pm, etc....

I'd think that would promote some people that check in from work or during the day to carry more teams in more worlds, as you could have a team to follow, update every 3 hours if you so choose.

I generally go to sleep around 1:45 after reading my scores at 1:30 (I'm in the Central time zone.)

I still wake up at 3-5 am and check my scores before going back to bed.

great idea, taz. i have allways felt that they could really spice things up by creating subtle differences between worlds.

sim time could be one of those differences.

games per day, obviously.

also, one world could be the first to implement any change, whilst another might be the last.

and maybe do away with the rewards point tax for d2-d3 in one or two of the worlds... wouldnt cost much and is would be interesting to see the response.

im not sure how i feel about it, but some have suggested that boosters be more effective in some worlds than others (naturally they would be a vital tool in tark.

i used to have alot of examples, but i cant recall them right now. but, anyway, as each world developed its own personality, it might increase participation as more coaches were drawn to multpile teams.

A flocking to the lower levels to start dynasty's?

I have teams in 5 worlds. I like seeing all the scores at once and completing my game planning before going to work.

I don't do the 2-a-day worlds because I can't always check the site in the afternoon/evening

You could still do that no matter what time the game sims, just might mean your game simmed 10 hours previous, while another just simmed 20 minutes ago. Unless you feel like you have to make a last minute adjustment right before the game sims, I'm not sure how the time of the sim actually effects anything, other than the time that you're first able to see the result.

To the above mentioned comment, about adjusting to a team's last minute change, how many teams do that? How useful would it be? And you do know that you can set a game plan for any defense individually right now, even one that the opponent is not set up to run.

I honestly don't see the downside to shuffling the sim times, and definently see the potential upside in income for WIS
