I found this funny.

Quote: The ideal candidate is fanatical about sports, enjoys working with numbers and understands statistics, is a strong communicator, self-motivated and well organized as this role will be the face and voice of the company. Additionally, this person should be intimately familiar with our games and website and contribute feedback and ideas for improving the site.

I'm guessing Paul is leaving?

Paul Bessire is the Senior Quantitative Analyst and Content Manager for WhatIfSports.com and a member of the Pro Football Writers of America. With any comments, questions or topic suggestions, Paul can be reached at . Thanks!

If this job means working on BTB, that's a step down from BPI Sports. Also, what makes Paul Bessire worthy to be apart of the Pro Football Writers of America? Nobody gives 2 damns about BTB...its worthless.

I think a ton of people here have good ideas/suggestions to make WIS better, but what makes you think they'll listen to you more/better because you're an employee as opposed to a customer? The company has jaded me, though I could more than handle the position and rather well might I add.

Please count this as the first write in vote for colonels to fill the new WIS position.

Looks like out with the old and in with the new....when TK was there...they played Ping Pong and Sega Genesis in their downtime....under the FOX regime, its wiffleball and PS3...sign of the times lol.

FWIW, not that this is some kind of big deal or anything, I may or may not submit a resume. For the most part, I don't really believe in their product(s), especially BTB which I see as a large waste of time for this website. If they want to display something like that on foxsports.com, fine, but it isn't going to get the kind of viewership they want, showing the nonsense on a sports gaming website as opposed to a sports and information website. I think I would find myself siding with the customer quite a bit, and if I can't fix/diffuse the problem myself, then I'm going to get frustrated very quickly. I would not tell someone like Norbert once told me "you got sacked a bunch of times, the game is in shambles"....its just one game/week/day/etc. isn't a sufficient excuse.

I've always said that I could/would love to do Paul's job, and I guess here's the opportunity to put my money where my mouth is and at least try to get an interview...I'm just not sure the positives outweigh the negatives here, because I genuinely want to help/improve this site, however if that's not possible and people aren't willing to listen and incorporate, then I'm just spinning my wheels. I mean, WIS, as a faction of FOX Sports, is rather direction-less. We'll see what happens.

Lol, I'm not conceding that...all the stuff I said was warranted and because I care about the games on here. I would probably like to interview for the position, but if its clear that I won't be able to make an impact, then screw it. I don't want to have smoke blown up my behind, tell me that things are going to change when there's no intent on doing so.
