Let me start by saying I approve of the de-roiding of HBD.

Here's a quick illustration of the changes in Second City. That's total HR's in the league by season sorted in ascending order with the % of the average season on the right. Looks like about a 20% drop for our league.

YR HRs % of ave
14 5504 79%
1 6516 93%
3 6521 94%
2 6597 95%
13 6870 99%
4 6883 99%
5 7071 101%
6 7096 102%
7 7191 103%
12 7310 105%
8 7404 106%
11 7439 107%
10 7455 107%
9 7734 111%

So what you're saying is . . . home runs are down?

Is anybody else aware of this?

as I said, I have no problem with the drop, it makes sense to mimic the changes that have occurred in MLB. Just thought I'd help quantify it a bit for people.

still too many. 2009 MLB hit 5042 so 5378 is the HBD equivilant.
1/14/2010 4:50 PM
It's a 34% drop across all of HBD

You'll never make it "match" MLB because there are way too many 'tards in HBD. MLB limits their 'tardliness to just a couple of teams.

I heard Admin say that. Why does that make sense. Why dont they just make the game play at a MLB average over the last 50 years and let it run. Everytime the game changes some people are going to gt better and some people are going to get worse??

There are way more TARD pitchers in MLB

Adapting to change is part of the adventure.
