There will be up to two versions of each franchise in the league. You can either choose to draft your franchise's "First team" or "Second Team". There are different drafting rules for each scenario."First Team" drafting rules1. You MUST draft all players that are team leaders in ANY of the 6 categories listed below. Whether this means you draft 1 player or 6 players you must draft them all.Example: If you pick the Lakers 1st team you have to draft Kobe, Magic, Kareem, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West.2. You MUST draft those players in a season in which they played for your team.3. Fill out your roster with teammates of your category leaders. NONE of these players may be on the list of the top 5 in any of the 6 categories. Example: So if you drafted 08-09 Kobe Bryant above, you could draft players from the 08-09 Lakers. Similiarly, if you drafted 79-80 Magic.. you could draft players from the 79-80 Lakers. The exception being you can't draft players like James Worthy or Shaquille O'neal as they rank in the top 5 in a category."Second Team" Drafting Rules1. Cannot draft any of the players that are listed at #1 in any of the categories for your franchise.2. Must draft at least 1 unique player from the top 5 of each category (if possible). Example: For the Laker's 2nd team you could draft these guys:3ptm - Eddie Jones, Asst - Norm Nixon, Stl - James Worthy, Blk - Shaq, Rebounds - Wilt, Points - Noone available as the top 5 are all #1 in a cateogory3. Can fill out the team with ANY players in a season they played for the Lakers (with the exception of the guys that are #1 in a category). This includes picking additional top 5 guys if you so choose. This gives this team the chance to grab 1 year or short term wonder sort of players.That's it. Pick a franchise and pick either the 1st or 2nd team and sign up below.
