Time to turn on the lights for the fourth season of Joes Not Pros (with all credit due to benjihall as the innovator).
Sick of Rodman, Moses, Nash and others who show up in droves in every league? This league guarantees some unusual lineups and will make you think outside the box.
Every owner will pick 4 unique players whose best year is between $3 million and $6.5 million (Average Joes) and blacklist any 4 unique players (Pros). Both lists will be kept in the forum.
Each set of 4 Joes should include 2 bigs and 2 smalls, based on position listed by WIS for that player's best season. Small forwards can be either "big" or "small" depending on whether their next best position is PF or SG.
When everyone has selected both sets of 4 I will randomly assign each owner 4 Joes . Those Joes will then be blacklisted from the other owners. You can then build your team with any player not on the blacklist but you must include the best year of each of your Joes.
Some good examples of Joes - Nesterovic, Croshere, Lenard, and one of the ugliest players ever, Randy Breuer. Or pick some higher priced guys you never see in the sim because of the nasty warts in their game! This is your chance to stick opposing rosters with shooting percentages, loads of TOs and PFs, or just plain bad luck. (Of course, you may get some of that yourself...)
