Bummer. This is what happens when you miss your first 20 3s lol. Went from missing the tourney last year to the elite 8 this year. Hell of a season!

Wish we wouldn't have got screwed with the best #2 seed, but I am not the type of fan to sit here and make excuses. West Virginia played the better game tonight for sure.

On the plus side, couldn't have happened to a more deserving coach. Unfortunately the winning coach is another scumbag.

Also on the plus side, at least you will only have an elite 8 vacated in a few years and won't lose a final 4

I was very happy by this because I believe Kentucky fans in general are the scum of the earth. 5 Minutes before the game started, Coach Cal was their "Savior" and John Wall was God. Look at their message board now. Now its.... "Coach Cal blew that game", "We were just athletes, not basketball players", "Go to the Nets Cal". Honestly, what is wrong with them. They turn in a millisecond. Before the game on a Duke board someone was telling Duke fans that they were jealous of Kentucky because of Coach Cal. Yes, Duke should be jealous of Kentucky because of Coach Cal when they already have a coach who has 3 national championships. Its a joke.

That being said, I think the UK fans on this site are not like that at all. I in no way think Pork, Gillespie and alblack are scum. Just most Kentucky fans are lol.

We'll watch the Duke board when they lose today to see the difference...I like the teams I like and dont like the the teams I don't, but your average fan of any team is an idiot.

that being said, couldn't be happier to see Kentucky lose as well. Wall, Bledsoe, and Cousins are so good, but wearing a UK jersey is more than I can take.

I think the WVU AD tranquilized Huggins before that game. Have you ever seen him coach a game and not freak out a dozen times? He was, dare I say, controlled.

Don't do this Tmac. I'm a diehard Duke fan living right in the middle of Wildcat country here in Kentucky and I wouldn't even go so far as to say that. Cocky, yes. Arrogant, sure. Fair weather fans, absolutely. But don't stereotype all the fans because of the actions of a few. In short, "scum" is probably a bit harsh of a term.

As Duke fans, we get labeled as "uppity", "arrogant", "the rich boy's fans" whether deservedly so or not. I refuse to lower myself to that level and so should you.

Thanks for the kind words from a couple of you. I will sound like a Cubs fan now, but wait till next season! lol... if Bledsoe and Orton come back, they will be joined by arguably the top big man (Kanter) and the consensus #1 PG (Knight is almost a foregone conclusion) from this class. Plus in all likelihood another top big man (CJ Leslie/Terrence Jones) and a good guard (Doron Lamb, Chris Joseph, or Chril Hill).

A lineup consisting of Kanter, Orton, Miller, Bledsoe, and Knight with Liggins, Jones/Leslie, 5 star FR guard, and top FR SF Stacey Poole off the bench will still be a a top 10 team all year round with a shot at the Final 4. Maybe not as much talent as this year, but still a damn good team!
