New Challenge: MVP???

Each individual should pick an MVP from 1950 and on and nominate that MVPs team. We will then throw all 10 teams, plus an extra team that I will choose into a draft.

We will draft teams and play a game. Immunity to the team with the biggest margin of victory. Additional rewards to the person who nominates a team that does not get picked. A third reward to the person who coaches the MVP who has the best game. I will be using the Bill James runs created formula to determine that. I dont know it off the top of my head and it is at home.

Pitchers who start must be able to start in the exhibition mode, RP must have made majority of appearances out of the pen.

Teams due by Sat 12 noon.

Sitemail is prefers so everyone does not know who you picked. There may end up being several of the same team and that is fine. I red lined Arivd so not everyone sees who he picked.

Okay, it would help if you were clearer.

Are we:

*Putting up teams

*Then drafting the teams (1-9, last person gets whichever team did not get drafted)

Why be secretive?

I would think he just doesn't want 1 person pointing out the obvious team and having 10 replicas You do get a reward for picking the worst team so why would you want others to know who you picked .... Individual immunity now

I understood your point, I got that earlier. I just didn't anticipate alot of/any copies when we have Like 120 teams to choose from. Explanations are a bit muddy alot of times in this game, wanted to make sure I understand everything clearly.

All remaining 10 people sm me a team. I will also but up a team for a total of 11. Then we hold a draft. This game is all about strategy now, not just winning games. Picking up bonuses for have the MVP who plays the best, or by not having your team picked will help a lot down the road. That is why you do not want people to know who your team is.

Also things are "muddy" as you put it so that people can try to think and find different ways to play things. I havent looked back arvid but I think you are the only one who has posted teams in the thread. It wasnt a problem season one and its not really a problem here either, I just redlined it to help you out.

Will the draft order be determined randomly?
