I recently had a player drop from a rating of 1 in LP to a rating of 0 over the off-season. He has low potential in that area and spent last year as a redshirt.

Does anyone know how much of an impact this drop has on a player? It seems like it would be almost unnoticeable, but I'm wondering whether having absolutely no capacity at all may have a relatively larger impact than other drops in attributes. Also, how frequently does this specific scenerio happen? Thanks.  

great, now anytime he tries to shoot the game will try to divide by 0, and there goes the universe...

I had a player start this season at 0 in Low Post but fortunately he gained it back after the first practice. Looks like the universe will remain intact, in Tark anyway...

That's the second player i've heard about now, nachopuzzle.....Northern Iowa (Allen World) also has an SG with a LP rating of 0. (and that's DI). So, if he goes in for a layup, does he just not even shoot but just run straight into the goal support? If he has high potential, could he improve infinitely yet never move off of zero? Does he even have arms?

i saw one of these recently in d1 tark, can't remember if it was lp too, but seems like it might have been - let me see if i can find it.

it was a guard on ucla, but they since gained the point back. it was lp. so maybe its just an issue with lp. i was under the impression 0 was impossible too but i figured, oh well, what the hell, and flew into a cliff.

Had this on my Rhode Island squad the current season in Naismith, also a guard and LP.

I believe when low post hits zero on a center, his legs fall off and his arms are severed at the elbow.............................

What happened with that player's LP rating? Did the player quickly earn the point back, similiar to prezuiwf's experience? If not, could you notice any impact of having lost that point?

BYU in Smith has a C with a PER rating of 0.

Thanks for the input. Has anyone noticed this happening in any other individual skills besides LP and PE? I looked around, but couldn't find anything.

I did a pretty thurough search after last season when I first noticed it and I've only seen it in LP and Per, and I'm pretty sure it returned to 1 for each player after the first practice
