D1 Recruit: Acceptable? Topic

I'm not very familiar with D1, but I'm at a mid-major and I'm thinking about signing this guy:

Thoughts? He's a juco but I informed him of RS, will he make a pretty good scorer by his Senior year?

edit: He's hi/hi in rebounding, defense, perimeter, ball handling and stamina; unfortunately only 'regular' high in speed. His FT% is 70.

I think he's pretty solid for a mid-major recruit, but I don't have that much experience in DI and I'm just getting my feet wet at a small conference school myself.

A lot depends on whether he has 2 or 3 years remaining and how good his WE is. I think he looks pretty good for that level.

That's a solid player for a mid major recruit. Will he be able to score? Not sure he'll be real good but it does depend on the years left and WE just like Weena said. We can't see that in the link.

If he has 3 years left and you r/s him then yes.

work ethic is 70-something, just has 3 years left but like i said i was able to RS him and he's high/high in a lot of stuff

he'll be able to play SF if that REB actually improves, right? in that case, I think he looks pretty good, but then again I have just made it to my first BCS school, so I have no real experience to base my opinion on...

He will be ok jones as a sr I would play him at sg.

Sadly, I'd love that guy on my d1 team.  Explains why my team isn't any good ;-)

In my short, uninspiring duration in D1, my best players have had below average cores to being, but high W/E.  Selective practicing has made them great for low D1 by the end of their junior year.  I've never had success recruiting players at D1 who can contribute right away.

This guy is good, and is a fringe BCS player

Well, for starters, he's got 2 years left, not three.  Still a nice d3 signing, though.
