Since I seemed to get chastised for saying something about trades in my world, want to get everyones advice (since the vet doesnt see anything wrong with this deal)

The vet who made the trade is trying to pull some crap saying that its fair because nobody else offered anything better... problem with that argument is nobody else knew cruz was available, and he doenst know if anybody else offered anything better.

As always, it depends on the world.   Such deals may be commonplace.   If they are, no need to make a stand now.   And, since you said you get grief when you comment on a trade in the WC, I'd wager such deals are commonplace.

just this year, this newb who made this trade had another trade which although was not as bad was still trade-rape..  I got grief from the owner who was on the other end, basically saying that my 0 million adv. scouting made me blind to the true value of his 7 year pro turds

But it looks like a trade of a great pitcher for 3 guys that could likely be found available at the end of free agency.

Easy veto. It's a playoff rotation SP for three guys who have zero trade value as they are, at best, a LRB/mopup pitcher and 2 end of the bench scrubs.
