It's been a few seasons now since a bunch of guys got together and formed the CCIW in D3 Knight. Not the first time something like that had happened, certainly, but perhaps they've done the best job of it. They are still keeping up with coach-voted conference awards and predictions, have established a conference Hall of Fame, and maintain an active CC and conference thread in the Knight forums. Anyway, I'm wondering if their are enough coaches out there to make the same thing happen again. I'm somewhat envisioning a 2-step plan where a group of at least 9 or 10 coaches occupy a nearly-empty D3 conference for 8-10 seasons and then mysteriously leave, only to reappear as a D2 conference. If others would be interested but only if we remain in D3 I can be persuaded of that as well. Same thing for a quicker jump to D2. I prefer 2-a-day worlds, and I'm pretty well entrenched at Rochester in Knight. That doesn't mean we couldn't potentially play in Knight, just that it would have to be somewhere outside of New York. I have some old aliases I could use if I need to. Anyway, if you're interested and perhaps have an empty conference to nominate, post below!
